Apart from our legal services, accountancy, tax advice and insurances, we deal with following issues :

1. NIE, RESIDENCIA and SOCIAL SECURITY

You can avoid long waiting hours and being sent from A to B and back again by letting us handle the paperwork for you.

The NIE number (Numero de Identificación de Extranjero) is a Spanish personal fiscal number which every home-owner needs to obtain before completing on a property. As with all Spanish official instances, the waiting can be long and tiring so we do that for you. A native English chauffeur drives you up and down to and from the Alicante National Police Office, where you don't have to queue (we do that for you), and where we obtain your NIE number the same day.

Applications for Residencia can be handled for you as well. Again, all we need from you is the necessary paperwork and a signed authorization and you can pick up the application form, legally stamped, the next day from our offices. The waiting period between applying and actual obtaining of your Residencia Card up to a year; however, with the stamped application form you are completely legal in Spain.

Once your Residencia application has been stamped, we can apply for Medical cover in Spain and thus obtain your Medical Card. This Card will enable you to take advantage of the Spanish Health System which is completely free of charge for pensioners.

2. TRÁFICO.

The Trafico office in Alicante can be a nightmare for people who have no knowledge of the Spanish language and system. Long queuing hours are standard, few – if any - of the office personnel speak English, so confusion is common.

We can help you do the legwork for you in case of :

•  change of ownership of vehicle

•  import of vehicle (Spanish plates)

•  Spanish driving licenses for residents

•  Etc.

The only thing we ask you to do is to bring us the necessary paperwork. We will take care of the rest.

3. TRANSLATIONS

Since our staff is multi-lingual, normal texts will be translated in-house into English, Spanish, German, Dutch and French.

However, a lot of legal documents require a legalized translation to be valid for official instances and Notary. We have an excellent working relationship with an official translator's office in Alicante, which deals with all the legalized translations we need.

We can also provide a translator to accompany you to the Doctor, Police Station or help you with all queries you may have in that area.
